About Susan Baker

Susan Baker is an American sculptor and painter living and working in Siler City, North Carolina and Flagler Beach, Florida.

Sues work can be seen in private collections, art shows, and galleries in North Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, and Florida.

She has studied sculpture at The Maitland Art Center (FL) with sculptor Susan Carter, ceramics and mixed media with artists Evelyn Foster and Marilyn Banner at the Noyes School of Rhythm in Connecticut, and with Greensboro sculptor Philip Ashe.

Sue also has a degree in music performance from the University of Miami, so art has always been in her life in one form or another.

Her main interests lie in the imaginal realm of mythology, deep nature, and spirituality.
